This renewable energy park is responsible for supplying 65 MW of renewable energy. This is sufficient to power 23,000 homes in Queensland. A power purchase agreement (PPA) was signed to sell 80% of the energy generated from the renewable energy power plant. Over 24,7000 solar panels were installed as a part of the project. This generates 1,85,000 MWh of power. The country is also currently in conversation to open a second solar farm in Whyalla.
